I’ve seen more contractors turning to estimating consultants for support, especially on larger or complex projects. Having a third party review the scope, materials, and labor often brings a fresh perspective and helps reduce costly errors.
What I find interesting is that consultants can also save time, allowing project teams to focus on execution instead of calculations. But of course, some prefer keeping everything in-house for better control.
